World Chef Day on 18th October 2006 Co-sponsored by Moti Mahal Deluxe Tandoori Trail.

The best Kebab Chef award was given by the Minster in the memory of Late Shri Kudan Lal Gujral, the founder of Moti Mahal restaurant.

Moti Mahal Tandoori Trail in collaboration with Ansal Plaza held a Moti Mahal Qwalli Nite at Ludhiana on the 17th December 2006 as a cultural tribute.

Moti Mahal Music – Qwalli Trail was released at a Gala Dinner on the 18th of October 2004 by Minister for Tourism Smt. Renuka Chowdhuri. The Music CDs and Cassettes are a compilation of famous quawalis sung live at Moti Mahal since 1940s. This music presentation is directed by Monish Gujral, MD Moti Mahal Tandoori Trail chain.

Moti Mahal Tandori Trail book authored by Monish Gujral, published by Rolli Books was released by Minister for Commerce and Industry – Law and Justice Sh. Arun Jaitley on the 18th April 2004. The book has a rare collection of Black & White pictures, recipes and historical foreword which makes this book a real collectors book. Moti Mahal is probably the first Indian restaurant with a book of its own.

Monish Gujral instituted a culinary excellence Annual award for the best student chef of the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa, Delhi. The first award being given to Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh at a function organized at ITC Maurya Sheraton Hotel, New Delhi being presented by Mrs. Rupa Gujral , Mother of Monish Gujral.

Moti Mahal Tandoori Trail Nite organized at Dilli Haat in Feb 2005 on invitation by Delhi Tourism to showcase Moti Mahals contribution to Indian Tourism and World Cuisine. Dilli Haat is a famous destination set by Delhi Tourism in association with the Handicraft ministry, Government of India to showcase India to the outside world. The event showcased Moti Mahal Quawalis, Food, Hall of Fame Photo Gallery, Books, Music etc. The Herbal Queen Shahnaz Hussain was the guest of honor.
